May 10th Weekly Update From Rep. Ryan Chamberlin

WEEKLY UPDATE FROM REP. RYAN CHAMBERLIN

My Fellow Floridians,

Following the legislative session, I have been very busy out in the community, attending events, meeting with constituents, and learning more about how I can make House District 24 a better place. There is a lot of behind-the-scenes work that goes into being a state legislator! In this week’s newsletter, I want to share with you what I have been up to and some important state updates.

If there is something I can do for you, please do not hesitate to get in touch with my office. I want to work with you to build a brighter future for our district and state. You can contact my office by clicking here. I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Re-Election Event for U.S. Senator Rick Scott

My staff and I had the opportunity to attend an event for the re-election of U.S. Senator Rick Scott hosted by my good friend Danny Gaekwad. Senator Scott has done great work during his time in Congress, holding the line against the radical liberal agenda. I’m proud to support him for re-election.

Marion County Tea Party Meeting

It was great to speak at the Marion County Tea Party meeting. I expressed to the attendees how exciting it is to represent the Great State of Florida. We still have a lot of work to do, but if the other 49 states were more like Florida, we would have a different country. I enjoyed sharing our state’s progress with the community.

100% Pro-Business Voting Record Award

I had the pleasure of attending the AIF Orlando candidate reception honoring incumbent legislators and candidates for the Florida Legislature. I was proud to receive an award for voting for pro-business legislation during the 2024 Legislative Session. I will always be a champion for Florida entrepreneurs and small business owners in the legislature.

Legislation Signed – HB 7073 – Tax Relief

This week, Governor Ron DeSantis signed a major tax relief bill into law. HB 7073 will provide billions of dollars in tax relief for Floridians, including tax holidays on back-to-school suppliesdisaster preparedness items, and toll transactions. View the infographic included above to learn more! Thank you, Governor DeSantis, for helping Florida families keep more money in their pockets.
