WEEKLY UPDATE FROM REP. RYAN CHAMBERLIN

My fellow Floridians,

At the end of last week, we wrapped up the 2024 Legislative Session, and I am now back home in the district with my family. I am so proud of what my colleagues and I accomplished during our time in Tallahassee! As State Representative for House District 24, I fought hard for conservatism and worked diligently to carry the issues important to you. Serving in the Florida House has been the honor of a lifetime, and I want the district to know that I am just getting started.

Thank you for taking the time each week to read my newsletter. Your continued trust and support mean a great deal to me! I look forward to keeping you updated on my work and activity in the community in the months to come.

Legislative Session Recap

It was an incredible honor to serve alongside so many strong leaders in the Florida House. Each of my colleagues brings unique insight to our legislative body, and I am so thankful for all the good work they do for our state and their individual communities. I look forward to joining them again in Tallahassee for the next legislative session!

Over his two years as Speaker of the Florida House, Paul Renner oversaw historical legislation that will better the lives of future generations of Floridians. It was a privilege to serve under his leadership. He led the Florida House with strength and determination second to none, and it was an honor to support his legislative priorities for our state. He will be missed in the Florida Legislature, but I look forward to all that we will accomplish for the Sunshine State in the legislative sessions to come.

Since my election, it has been an honor to work closely alongside Reps. Stan McClain, Ralph Massullo, and Bobby Payne to advocate for the needs of Marion County. Sadly, these great leaders have concluded their time in the Florida House and are now pursuing new opportunities to serve Florida. Their leadership has left a lasting impact on our state, and I look forward to carrying on their good work. I wish them all the best in their future endeavors!

As we wrapped up in Tallahassee, I had the opportunity to meet some of our state’s law enforcement officers and their K-9 companions. Since day one, I have been a strong supporter of Florida’s law enforcement and first responders. And during this year’s legislative session, it was a privilege to sponsor a bill that supports more of these brave men and women. Read more about this legislation here!

It was wonderful to get to know Victoria, the messenger I sponsored for this legislative session. She was a great help to me on the House Floor, and I appreciated all her good work. She has a bright future ahead!
